I’m gonna blog now because I’m not gonna be able to in the next few days or so.
As the hubby’s family tradition, we go to VA Beach to go crabbing every summer. And this year is not an exemption. We’re leaving on Friday and due to be back next Wednesday. However, before we head to the beach, we’re gonna stop over at Boston, Jersey and maybe even NY. Our check-in at the vacation house in VA is not until Monday. So we have 2 days of touring before the beach. But more like 2 days of shopping as we have already been around Jersey and NY. Never been to Boston so I’m excited about that. I hope they (father- and mother-in-law) decide to see Harvard University cuz that’s one of the things I wanna check out there.
Also, my father-in-law’s uncle passed away last weekend. We’re going to the viewing tonight and the funeral tomorrow.
That and a few last-minute pre-trip preparations. For example, my sister-in-law Kezi and I are going to Orfus Road in half an hour to go shopping for clothes to wear on the trip. Really, I don’t need new clothes. And we’re already going shopping in the U.S. anyways. But since I’ve gained weight (to the tune of 20 lbs.), I need clothes that are less figure-fitting to camouflage the body parts where the 20 lbs. weight gain has decided to go.
I also need to do my nails before the viewing tonight.
I think I might have to cancel lunch with my high school friend Arlo tomorrow due to the funeral. But maybe I can make it for dinner instead. I also gotta see Nicole before I leave because she’ll be gone when I get back from VA to go on a trip to western Canada for 2 weeks.
That’s what’s going down in the next few days. I’ll be tweeting from my phone until I cross over the U.S. border on Friday. And from my iTouch wherever there’s WiFi.
