Canada Day weekend itinerary
So a plan for the weekend is starting to take form. This whole marriage system is both an assistance and a hindrance to my what-to-do dilemma in the sense that I would have to take into consideration what my husband wants to do which will consequently help me construct a realistic plan. (See last blog. Seriously, who am I kidding? I realize that I won’t be able to do all those unless I’m omnipresent.) And then a little negotiation.
Me: I wanna check out Pride. (fully aware that the hubby wouldn’t wanna go)
Husband: I don’t wanna.
Me: Fine. Then take me to the tall ships thingie. (which is the one thing that I would skip everything else for)
Husband: Fine. I wanna go to the cottage with Maria and her family.
Me: Fine. But we have to be back on Sunday for the tall ships thingie.
Husband: Fine.
Me: Fine.

As for the Jazz Fest, it’s a week-long festival so I don’t have to see it on the weekend. I’m thinking of checking that out tomorrow night, actually. Friday is our cottage trip. Which means that I’d have to skip the Toronto Tumblr meetup on Saturday. I hope there’d be another one sooner than later.
